Obama vs McCain
Friday, September 26th, 2008Today was the first presidential debate. Fox News is sure that Mccain won. Then there is the rest of the media….. I, of course, still somehow think that Hillary won.
Another pretty normal day in the house. Evan has been using a fork for a few weeks now, but getting better every day. Today I caught some it on camera
"I am getting pretty good at this!"
Eggs are a new favorite. After several months of trying once a week, suddenly he can finish almost 2 scrambled eggs, plus toast or a cereal bar, AND a banana most every morning.
We still allow the occasional assist by a finger or two....
Even after breakfast, Evan still likes to carry around his cup with some snack in it. It keeps him happy, and gives his daddies time to drink coffee, feed Sophie, drink coffee, take showers, get dressed, drink coffee (did I say that already?), get Evan dressed, and get off to work!
Now. I think it was two days ago that Evan discovered this next toy on the shelf in the back room. Its been around for almost a year, and he never really noticed it, but all of a sudden it is his favorite and he can’t get enough of this little dog that “barks” “jingle bells”!!
"Dad, watch what happens if I squeeze his ear!"
Funny thing that it seems to be just in time to teach him a little something about Christmas!
"Dog gone it if it doesn't work EVERY time!"
And now it is accompanied by the cutest little dance!
