David and JP's Thoroughly Modern (fa)Millie

Another beautiful long weekend in Fair Play. David took Friday afternoon and Monday off which allowed us to spend some great family time together. The weather is just about perfect this time of year in the Sierra Foothills. This first picture is the view from our back yard. Leaves on alot of trees are just beginning to change.

Also very interesting is that the Roses are starting to bloom again in October. I guess that is probably normal – but surprising to me.

Over the weekend, Evan had his first encounter with that time tested meal – Speghetti O’s! And sure enough – he loved them. We had to capture it on Camera – in which he also shows his improved spoon use ability.

Here is a picture of Sophie at lunch at Bocconato. I’ve been waiting for this picture so I could use another line from our favorite Musical. You’ll have to watch the movie to understand. (if you haven’t seen the original movie with Mary Tyler Moore and Julie Andrews – its worth watching just for kicks)

For those of you that have never been to Fair Play. This next picture is reason enough to go. The Van De Vijver Estate winery is sure to impress you with great wine and even better fun and laughter. Robert and Missy pose for a picture below with David and kids.
