“Dat’s de ol’ stream dat I long to cross” (Show Boat)
Saturday, April 25th, 2009I posted pictures of our boxes from Diapers.com a few weeks ago. This week Nanny and Pappi found a new use for the boxes. They made “boats” out of them for Evan and Sophie. It didn’t take much – open them up, throw a pillow in for a seat, and write “Evan’s Boat” and “Sophie’s Boat” on them. They were good for a couple of days of entertainment before trash day – and I am sure will be recreated at another time.

i am SO stealing the “name on respective boxes” idea. a top 5 favorite toy in our house is the box that a giant yellow duck/rocking chair thing arrived in. of course, no one has touched the duck but the box is now a playhouse with windows and a mail slot. so his and her cardboard activities sound magnificent (not to mention cheaper).
